Animal Biotechnology
Gujarat Biotechnology University offers a two-year full-time MSc programme to nurture world-class, enterprising individuals in Animal Biotechnology.
Through the application of cutting edge molecular and genetic techniques, students will learn how to optimise animals for high-demand applications in pharmaceutics, industries, and agriculture. A basket of projects will be offered to the students, focusing on the development of a range of products which will keep evolving depending on local and national demands.

- Animal breeding for enhanced performance and traits; avian biology
- Aqua culture and marine biotechnology
- Animal welfare and integrated farm management
- Animal management strategies for antimicrobial resistance (AMR), risk-minimisation, and mitigation
- OMICS and bioinformatics
